Family History since 1846
Over 170 years of distillation, down the hill, top of quality
Started in 1846 by Filippo Mazzetti, the family’s distilling activity has been passed down from father to son until today through six generations.
Every year our distillery in Altavilla Monferrato receives the best Monferrato pomaces to produce many fine single-vine grappas.
Obtained from fresh pomaces, distilled with steam stills after a careful and thorough waste of fronts and end, our grappas rest for several years in the finest oak casks and in cherry, chestnut, almond, and French oak barriques until a total harmony of taste and fragrance preserving at the same time the floral and fruity notes, is achieved.
Our grappa are the result of a production process passed down with passion and wisdom from father to son to the current owner, Filippo Mazzetti together with his wife Laura and their sons Fabrizio and Alessandro.
